The Cranborne Audio N22H is a headphone amplifier and analogue snake box in one that can send four balanced signals down a single CAT5 cable so you can bridge gaps of up to 100 metres without the risk of crosstalk or signal loss. A more than convenient bit of kit when it comes to recording, monitoring and setting up, the N22H can be used for a lot of things, including linking a microphone preamp in the recording space with the mixer in the control room. Meanwhile, the built-in headphone amplifier allows you to listen in on what the microphone is capturing, which is helpful when setting up to record, but you also have the option to listen to what's happening in the control room, which is perfect for talkback and monitoring.
